Fourth Annual Housing Forum Planned - 9/22/1998
The South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority will sponsor its fourth annual Housing Forum on November 16, at the Sheraton Hotel in Columbia. The Forum will be an all day event beginning at 8:30 a.m., featuring remarks from national and state housing professionals, presentations and workshops on current housing trends and issues, and information on a variety of programs and subjects.
Nicholas P. Retsinas, director of the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University is scheduled to deliver the keynote address. John T. McEvoy, executive director for the National Council of State Housing Agencies will provide a Washington update.
Registration for the forum is $30 per person, ($40 after October 1) and will include lunch. The presentation of the 1998 South Carolina Housing Achievement Awards to honorees in seven housing categories will be awarded during the luncheon. Also, winners of the "What My Home Means to Me" Coloring and Essay Contest for children will be announced.
