Individual or Family Disability Program


The first-time home buyer requirement is waived for all individuals or families with disabilities. The applicant cannot own a principal residence at the time of closing on their new home.

The borrower must be 100% permanently disabled or handicapped as determined by Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), Social Security Income (SSI) or be a custodial parent or legal guardian of at least one dependent (regardless of age) who is 100% permanently disabled or handicapped as determined by SSDI/SSI. (Appropriate Documentation Required)

Category I
Those disability program applicants having total household income qualifying for Category I interest rates will receive the Category III interest rate. A Repayable Down Payment Assistance Loan is available for this option. See Category I for income requirements and sales price limits. 

Category II
Those disability program applicants having total household income qualifying for Category II interest rates will receive the Category III interest rate. Down Payment Assistance is available for this program.
