When utilizing the South Carolina Housing Trust Fund (SC HTF) for development of affordable housing, it can prove a valuable resource for the creation or rehabilitation of Supportive or Group Home type housing. As Administrator, SC Housing strives to maximize leveraging of federal, state and other housing assistance programs. SC HTF delivers funds through established partnerships with other governmental entities, qualified non-profit sponsors and for-profit sponsors.
SC HTF, as legislated, works through a network of Sponsors, including non-profit and governmental entities. These organizations apply for funding, and then use the funds to provide affordable housing to eligible citizens.
Individual citizens who are looking for assistance through the SC HTF should contact one of our approved Sponsors.
A list of approved Sponsors for Home Repair can be found in the HTF Approved Nonprofit List - Home Repair.
A list of approved Sponsors for Group Homes and Supportive Housing can be found in the HTF Approved Nonprofit List - GH/SH.
