Small Rental Development Program

Small Rental Development Program (SRDP)

Funding available for the 2025 Small Rental Development Program (SRDP) will be approximately $32,902,500. A draft of the 2025 Small Rental Development Program Application Manual, included as part of the State’s 2025 Action Plan for Community Development funding is available for review and public comment here.  Public comments must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm on January 28, 2025 to be taken into consideration. In addition, a public hearing will be held on January 16, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Department of Commerce located at 1201 Main Street, 15th Floor, Columbia, SC 29201. 

Anticipated Funding for the 2025 funding cycle:

  • HOME Investment Partnership Program $21,752,321 including up to $957,635 in set-aside funding for CHDOs
  • National Housing Trust Fund Program (NHTF) $5,660,696
  • SC Housing Trust Fund Program (HTF) $5,489,485
